I have always enjoyed watching artists in Central Park drawing people's portraits. They are quick and the progress from the first few lines to the finished product is incredible.
These sketches and images by Isabelle Oziol of Pignol for La Redoute catalog's blog (whose current designer is Inès de la Fressange) are good example of a similar process for fashion illustration. 1 | 2
